Nominate an alum who has made an impact

The Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Research Committee is proud to announce that nominations are open for the inaugural Alumni Scholarship Award. This award was created to honor a WSU Applebaum graduate who has made a significant and sustained contribution to basic science, clinical, and/or educational research and/or their respective profession for at least 10 years. The first recipient will deliver the College Research Day keynote in 2024.

The nominee's contributions will be assessed by:

• The nominee must have graduated from a WSU Applebaum program
• The impact and range of the nominee's contribution to their profession
• Level of distinction achieved by nominee in their respective profession
• Level of significant scholarly contributions in at least one of the following:
  • Publication record
  • Grantsmanship
  • Local/regional/national presentations
  • Record of mentorship or serving as a role model
  • Provided significant leadership in academia, industry, or professional practice
  • Received awards for practice, research, or education

Nominations are due by Oct. 1, 2023, and must include two letters of recommendation and the nominee's CV. Complete requirements and details can be found on the Alumni Scholarship Award webpage.
