Application checklist
Application deadline - May 1
All applicants must include the following supporting documentation with their college application. Completion of the prerequisites with the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission to the professional program. Incomplete applications will not be considered for admission.
- Completed Online College/Program Application.
- Successfully complete the admission requirements.
- Personal statement (limited to 250 words); details are provided in the application.
- Personal resume outlining your community or vocational activities, honors, employment, extracurricular and volunteer activities.
- Plan of Work of prerequisite courses currently in progress or planned for Winter and Spring/Summer semesters. Courses are entered in the online form in the application.
- Transcripts from all colleges/universities attended (including WSU transcripts, if applicable).
- Two professional recommendations.
- All supporting documents are uploaded or entered into the application system.
If qualified, applicants will receive notification regarding a required interview.
Applicants who have never attended Wayne State University as an undergraduate student must complete the undergraduate application: https://slate.wayne.edu/apply.
NOTE: In addition to submitting transcripts to the Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Secondary Application, students who must complete a WSU application must also digitally send updated official transcripts to the Wayne State University admission office.
Applicants who are not U.S. citizens (except Canadian students educated in Canada) must also include:
- Copy of Educational Credential Evaluation (ECE) or World Education Service (WES)
- Copy of Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
