Provide, cultivate, and maintain education and training programs that prepare trainees for successful careers

  • Objective 5a: Continually assess student enrollment in individual programs to facilitate success, accreditation, and growth.
  • Objective 5b: Actively adapt curricula to teach foundational knowledge and collaborative skills.
  • Objective 5c:  Achieve and maintain licensure/certification/registration rates in accordance with national accreditation standards.

Promote student learning and success

  • Objective 6a:  Enhance and maintain student support services and educational experiences throughout EACPHS.
  • Objective 6b:  Increase the amount and availability of scholarship funds for students.

Expand and maintain quality experiential training

  • Objective 7a: Continually assess the number and quality of experiential training opportunities in individual programs.
  • Objective 7b: Develop new partnerships with health care systems and industries to maintain experiential training opportunities and design intentional interprofessional experiences.
  • Objective 7c: Expand the scope and size of graduate training programs.
  • Objective 7d:  Expand the number of post-graduation researchers (i.e., postdoctoral fellows and pre-clinical fellows).

Promote faculty learning and success

  • Objective 8a: Identify teaching workshops/development programs for faculty.
  • Objective 8b: Develop peer mentored programs focused on manuscript and grant review.
  • Objective 8d: Strengthen the health and wellness culture by creating wellness resources that are easily accessible for faculty.

Promote the learning and success for administrative and academic staff

  • Objective 9a: Assess the number of administrative staff participating in professional training classes/program annually.
  • Objective 9b: Support academic staff participation in professional development activities.
  • Objective 9c:  Develop training/onboarding resources for new staff.
  • Objective 9d:  Periodically  poll staff to identify training and resources needs for both administrative and academic staff.
  • Objective 9e: Strengthen the health and wellness culture by creating wellness resources that are easily accessible for all staff.
