This is program is designed to promote research activities for junior and new faculty researchers. Applicants may submit only one proposal per year as either the PI (Principal Investigator) or Co-I (Co-Investigator / faculty research mentor).

Maher appointed as permanent associate dean for health sciencesDr. Maher had served as interim associate dean for health sciences since January 2022, assuming oversight of nine clinical programs, which include Clinical Laboratory Science, Mortuary Science, Pathologists’ Assistant, Nurse Anesthesia, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant Studies, Radiation Therapy Technology and Radiologic Technology. During this time, she has also stepped up to lead the Office of Student Affairs on an interim basis.

RTT program will Race for the Cure Oct. 2, and you can too!On Sunday, Oct. 2, the WSU Applebaum Radiation Therapy Technology program team will participate in the 2022 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Detroit. Organized by Program Director Jeannetta Greer, the team invites the college family to join them at the race or support their cause with a monetary donation. Both can be done through the RTT program's Race for the Cure webpage.

An open book: Radiation Therapy Technology alum Charles M. Washington ’87 shares his journey with today’s studentsThe textbook Washington published in 1996, now in its fifth edition, is used by the WSU Applebaum RTT program, as well as other RTT programs across the globe. “Prior to my book, the materials used in radiation therapy courses were piecemeal collections of instruction that had been designed for physicians, nurses and other medical disciplines,” Washington said. “Principles and Practice of Radiation Therapy encapsulates our practice and is now considered the definitive work for radiation therapy practitioners by radiation therapy practitioners.”
