Campuswide Pre-Health Sciences Mentoring Program
The Wayne State University Campuswide Pre-Health Sciences Mentoring Program is committed to providing mentoring to Wayne State University undergraduate and post-bachelor students who are working on applying to one of the health sciences bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree programs in the Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. These include:
- Medical Laboratory Science
- Mortuary Science
- Nurse Anesthesia
- Occupational Therapy
- Pathologists' Assistant
- Physical Therapy
- Physician Assistant Studies
- Radiation Therapy Technology
- Radiologic Technology
The program's goal is to connect undergraduate and post-bachelor students with current health sciences students for guidance and support. The health sciences mentors will provide information and resources about the specific programs, the application process, time management, and other subjects. Mentors and mentees are expected to interact electronically or meet face to face twice per fall and winter semester. Additional meetings are highly recommended; however, they are not required.
