Opportunity for new community pharmacy site with Wayne State University

As part of our commitment to the city of Detroit, our community and our patients, the Wayne State University Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (WSU Applebaum) and Wayne Health are seeking experienced and qualified community pharmacy partners to submit proposals to establish and manage comprehensive community pharmacy services at a new facility just down the street from our college.  

The vision for this partnership is to establish ambulatory-community pharmacy practice at the highest level of patient care, interprofessional education and scholarship, serving patients in the heart of Detroit.

The Detroit Mack Health Center, located at 400 Mack Ave., is home to Wayne Health and Wayne Pediatrics clinics, serving both primary and specialty services, with over 60 exam rooms and an infusion clinic.

Members of the WSU Applebaum community of alumni, preceptors and friends are welcome to submit qualifications through Friday, Jan. 28, through the WSU Business Operations website.
