EACPHS cross country runners earn GLIAC All-Academic Excellence honors

Two members of the women's cross country squad that earned GLIAC All-Academic Excellence honors are students in the Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

Redshirt senior Jackie Feist (Beverly Hills, Mich. / Birmingham Groves) and sophomore Kiersten Reeves (Ionia, Mich.) were both named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence team for having a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or better.

This is the second time that Feist was named to the All-Academic Excellence team in cross country and the first time for Reeves. Criteria states that the student-athlete must be an active member on the roster at the end of the season, and not a freshman or a first-year transfer student.

Feist was named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll (term GPA 3.5+) for four consecutive semesters (fall 2016 through winter 2018) and to the Coach's Honor Roll (term GPA 3.0-3.49) for fall 2018. She also earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors for both the 2016 and 2017 cross country seasons.

Reeves was named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll for fall 2017, winter 2018 and fall 2018.

Feist is a PharmD student, while Reeves' declared program is Pre-Physical Therapy.
