PA class of 2020 hosting bottled water drive for Detroit Public Schools

Since the discovery of elevated lead and copper in drinking water of Detroit Public Schools in late August, the entire district has shut off its water fountains until the issue can be fully assessed and addressed. The Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Physician Assistant (PA) Studies class of 2020 is holding a drive to collect bottled water for Cass Tech and Ben Carson high schools.

To contribute, please bring bottled water to the Applebaum building and drop it off in the designated area in the Student Affairs Office, suite 1600 on the first floor, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:45 p.m.

PA students will drop off donated water weekly to the designated Detroit Public Schools. The water drive will continue through October.
