Six WSU Applebaum faculty members achieve promotions and/or tenure

We are pleased to announce Wayne State University Interim Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Laurie M. Lauzon Clabo’s recommendations for promotion and/or tenure in the Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences:

Tenure and promotion to associate professor

• Nora Fritz, Physical Therapy
• Jiemei Wang, Pharmaceutical Sciences

Promotion to associate clinical professor

• Melissa Lipari, Pharmacy Practice
• Vicky Pardo, Physical Therapy

Promotion to full professor

• Moh Malek, Physical Therapy

Promotion to full clinical professor

• Francine Salinitri, Pharmacy Practice

It is expected that the WSU Board of Governors will approve the above recommendations at its June 25 meeting, and promotion and tenure assignments will be effective August 18, 2021. Due to the pandemic, the reception to honor faculty for their achievements has been postponed until it is safe to gather in a group.
