Woodhaven High School summa cum laude graduate Lily Campbell was awarded one of two $2,500 Carl Parsell Scholarships. She received the award during the 29th annual Carl Parsell Memorial Golf Outing held June 13 at Links of Novi.

Campbell is the daughter of Woodhaven Police Officer Jason Campbell, a MAP member. She’s always wanted to help others through a career in medicine and the scholarship will help achieve that dream. Campbell is pursuing a pre-pharmacy and health sciences degree at Wayne State University.

“When I toured Wayne State, my leader was through the pharmacy program and it just sounds like me,” Campbell said. “I want to help people.”

She graduated Woodhaven High School with a 4.00 GPA and plans to go onto graduate school for a pharmacy degree.
