Wayne State's Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Radiologic Technology program would like to take the opportunity during the week of Nov. 7-13 - National Radiologic Technology Week - to send a big "Thank You" to Henry Ford Hospital Radiology!
The wonderful administrators and technologists have been so supportive of the program, especially during the pandemic. We could not do what we do without your continued support and assistance.
The Class of 2022 and Class of 2023 students, along with our Clinical Coordinator Jarrod Thorwart and Assistant Faculty Melissa Hibbert, appreciate all of the technologists in General Diagnostic Imaging, GI Fluoroscopy, Orthopedics/Center for Athletic Medicine, Mobile X-Ray, the Department of Emergency Medicine, Mammography, CT, MRI, Interventional Radiology, the Rad Techs in Surgical Services, and anyone else who has taken the time to work with us!
Thank you for teaching and training us to be the best possible technologists so that we can meet our program mission to perform competently and independently while providing exceptional patient care to a diverse patient population. Your dedication makes us better student technologists.
Radiologic technologists are health care professionals who administer prescribed radiation to help diagnose medical conditions. They perform procedures such as X-rays, CT scans and MRI exams. The Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Radiologic Technology program was Michigan's first accredited bachelor's degree program in the field, with an application deadline of Dec. 15.
