Before you apply

Do you enjoy the sciences, like a challenging work environment, and want to help people? The Wayne State University Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences offers 12 programs that train students for rewarding professions in health care. To ensure your success, there are important steps you should take before you apply.

Review application requirements

Each WSU Applebaum program has a unique application process and requirements. Visit your intended program's website for detailed information regarding admission requirements.

For transfer information, view equivalency guides. Transcript evaluations can be requested online.

Attend an information meeting

Information meetings are designed to answer your questions about WSU Applebaum's educational opportunities, admissions requirements and prerequisites. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. Eastern Time. You will receive instructions for joining the online information meeting after you register to attend.

Register for an information meeting

Students who are interested in nurse anesthesia should attend a specialized nurse anesthesia program information session.

Join us for Q&A Wednesday

Held on Zoom on the first Wednesday of every month from noon-1 p.m. Eastern Time, these drop-in Q&A sessions give interested students the chance to ask general questions about programs and the application process, plus learn about resources available, transfer equivalencies, application and course completion deadlines, and requirements. Q&A Wednesday does not substitute for an information meeting, as detailed above.

Get a closer look at an open house

Our annual Applebaum Building Open House typically occurs in April and our annual Mortuary Science Building Open House is typically at the beginning of November. Both events are free and open to the public — we hope you will join us to explore all of the programs WSU Applebaum has to offer! Watch this space as the events approach for details and registration info.
