Two EACPHS students among women's cross country GLIAC All-Academic honorees

Nine members of the 2019 Wayne State University women's cross country squad – two from WSU Applebaum – were recognized with GLIAC (Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) All-Academic accolades as announced by the conference office.

The two student-athletes from WSU Applebaum receiving All-Academic Excellence Team honors for maintaining a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.5 were Doctor of Pharmacy student Jackie Feist (Beverly Hills, Mich. / Birmingham Groves) and Doctor of Physical Therapy student Teresa Diehl.

This is the third time that Feist and Diehl were named to the All-Academic Excellence team in cross country.

The nine honorees equals the school record set in 2010, while the eight All-Academic Excellence selections is a school record. Over the last 10 years, 63 Warrior women's cross country runners have earned GLIAC All-Academic honors.
