Program outcomes

The Pathologists' Assistant Program is accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS).  In order to maintain accreditation status, NAACLS requires programs to meet benchmark outcome measures in certification, employment placement, and graduation rates. The WSU Pathologists' Assistant program tracks and monitors those outcomes as part of a continuous program assessment and improvement effort.

• The three-year (2020-2022) average employment placement rate percentage: 100%
• The three-year (2020-2022) average graduation rate percentage: 93%

Program Graduate Data 

¹ Percentage of students who pass the national certification exam within one year after graduation
² Percentage of graduates who find employment in the field or who continue their education within six months of graduation
³ Percentage of students who completed the final half of the program, which is defined as those entering the first semester of the second year of clinical rotations.
