Fulbright: Pathway to an International Career seminar on Thursday

Join the Wayne State University Office of International Programs Thursday, Nov. 15, at noon for a special presentation by Erica Lutes, executive director of Fulbright Belgium and Luxembourg, and Schuman Programs.

This brown bag session is appropriate for both faculty and students interested in the Department of State's signature educational exchange program.

Fulbright awards are available for faculty at all stages of their career, from post-doctoral staff to senior-level professors and administrators, and the Fulbright U.S. Student Program provides grants for individually designed study/research projects or for English Teaching Assistant Programs.

Fulbright offers research opportunities in more than 125 countries, in programs that range from two weeks to an academic year. The Office of International Programs can provide more information and advice on creating a competitive application.

This event is part of International Education Week, a joint initiative of State Department and the U.S. Department of Education, focusing on the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide with the goal of preparing American students for a global environment and attracting future leaders from abroad to study, learn and exchange experiences in the United States.
