Book edited by PT professor Moh Malek sells over 39,500 copies

Book CoverSales of the National Strength and Conditioning Association's Essentials of Personal Training, second edition, have topped 39,500. The book was co-edited by Associate Professor of Physical Therapy Moh Malek and Dr. Jared W. Coburn at California State University, Fullerton.

The book is routinely in the top 50 books for sales via Human Kinetics, a major publisher of textbooks in kinesiology and exercise physiology. Used by 367 universities as a required textbook for undergraduate and graduate-level courses, Essentials of Personal Training is also a popular desk reference for practicing professionals and personal trainers.

Comprehensive and research-based, the second edition of NSCA's Essentials of Personal Training contains state-of-the-art knowledge regarding applied aspects of personal training as well as clear explanations of supporting scientific evidence. It is also the authoritative text for those preparing for the NSCA Certified Personal Trainer exam.
