Your vote is needed this week for PharmD students representing WSU in national Up to Us competition

by Joseph Paul Javier

WSU Applebaum: We need your help and it will take no more than 10 to 15 seconds of your time!

The brothers of Kappa Psi are competing in the Up to Us National Competition and have had a jam-packed semester filled with digital events geared at promoting civic engagement, the lowering of cost for prescription medications, and educating the public about laws and policy that affect health care and the profession of pharmacy.

The WSU Up to Us team members include Joseph Paul Javier – executive director, Hussein Safaoui – policy liaison, Daniel Frederick – project coordinator, Jacob Dudash – finance officer, Fadi Manuel – social media chair, medical researchers Jad Kawas, Evan Johnson and Johnie Bailey, and teammates Steven Conway, Pierce Shaw, Noah Trotter and David Bermudez.

Currently, WSU is one of top teams in the national competition but we need more votes to get into the finals. Wayne State students, faculty, staff and friends can easily pledge to support the Wayne State Up to Us team online. But please hurry — this is the last week to vote!

Just follow the voting link and enter your name, email, ZIP code and vote for team Wayne State University. You can use more than one email, as each separate email address counts for one vote. (You can unclick Display Name to vote anonymously as well, and use the Detroit ZIP code 48202.)

MOST IMPORTANT: Please make sure to select Wayne State University as the school so that your vote is counted for the correct team!
